Dear Our Lady of Victory families,

We hope this email finds you and your families safe and healthy. We know that COVID-19 is having an impact on our community and our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We also want to thank you for your patience as we navigate very uncertain times not only in our community, but in America. 

Tonight, we were to gather as a community for our regular Our Lady of Victory Athletics Association meeting. With the Governor’s order to maintain social distancing, as well as the ‘stay at home’ order, we are canceling our April meeting entirely. We will post the minutes and budget report to our website to maintain open communication.

As of today, it is our hope to still have some of our spring sports season - even if it is an abbreviated season. We know all our sons and daughters have put time and effort into their sports. We will follow the lead of our government officials, as well as the leagues we participate in to evaluate what options exist for OLV. If a sport/season is canceled, we will communicate immediately with families. Our board has met to discuss how we may handle refunds (sport by sport) even though many of these sports have already incurred significant expenses for the season. As we get more information, we will share with our families. 

Again, thank you for your patience and understanding. Please keep your children and families safe, and we look forward to a time in the near future we can all gather as a community again. Youth sports are but a small part of our lives and community, but they do bring us together.
