AYB is a youth organization that provides young athletes with a chance to prosper at a young age in baseball and softball athletics.

We will not accept teammate or coach requests in 7u, 9u, and 12u. It is very difficult to meet requests and establish as much parity as possible in the league. 

5u Division- There WILL NOT be player evaluations for the 5u division. After you sign up for your child, a coach will contact you the first of March. There is a place on the registration portal for teammate and coach requests. Keep in mind this is only a request! We will do our best to honor the request, but it is very difficult to meet every request. Please understand this before registering.

It is very difficult to meet requests and establish as much parity as possible in the league. If your child played on a team with the SAME coach, they will play with the SAME TEAM AND COACH (unless you request otherwise). A coach may choose up to 3 protected players are placed on each team that would traditionally go to the draft, the remaining kids will be drafted by the coaches. The coaches will have an increased role in choosing their teams than what they've had in the past (particularly in 7u). This does not apply to 5u Teeball/6u Softball. We will take requests in 5u/6u.

Any parent guilty of improper conduct at any game or practice will be asked to leave the sports facility and be suspended from the following game. ***Your registration fee included the team jersey, hat, and the other overhead costs (umpires, facilities, concessions, etc). You should purchase individual equipment for your child (helmet, bat, glove, bag, etc.). Your coach will communicate with you once teams are finalized during the drafts about team pants/belts. Parents will have the opportunity to order team apparel this year to match their child's team. More information will be shared once team placements are final…

7u, 9u (baseball and softball), & 12u Divisions- Each coach is allowed 3 protected players. A protected player is a player who is automatically placed on the team without having to attend evaluations. Typically, the protected players are the coaches' kids. IF YOUR CHILD HAS PLAYED ON THE TEAM WITH THE COACH, THEY WILL RETURN TO THAT TEAM AUTOMATICALLY AND WILL NOT ATTEND EVALUATIONS. The remaining kids on the roster will be drafted by the coaches. Once the drafts are completed the rosters are final.
