Today with heavy hearts we at Hunter Cyprus Baseball are announcing that we will cancelling baseball for the spring of 2020. We want nothing more than to hear kids cheering and that satisfying ping of the ball hitting the bat. HC board along with the board of directors have worked extremely hard behind the scenes to help get baseball back on track. Unfortunately, the county parks and rec are closed until further notice for all team sports. The restrictions that are currently in place for team sports moving from orange to yellow still do not allow us to have a full season for any age group. This was set to be our 65th season and we are proud of being able to bring America’s favorite past time to the youth of our community for so many years. We truly have the best parents, players and volunteers around!!!
With this closure we will be following a prorated refund amount. We utilize player fees to pay for insurance, uniforms, county fees, balls, coach background checks and more. Most of these items are paid for prior to the draft or practices. We have been able to get some items refunded while others are non-refundable. We will be offering 3 options with this closure. 1) Donate your fees to the league to help us get a season next year. 2) Move your paid league fees towards next seasons fees. 3) Refund prorated amount. We are including a survey so you can let us know which option works best for your family. Just click the link below to complete the survey. (only 1 survey needed per family) We will give the league a few days to complete the survey and then we will set up specific, assigned days and times for those needing refunds to come to the field and get a check. We will also be setting up times for coaches to return equipment, and for small groups to take down sections of the fences and the put away the snack bar.

A few misc. items: We will do the Disneyland Raffle as soon as Disneyland lets us know we have tickets on the way. We will be setting up the team baskets online to bid on ASAP. (They are really great!) We are still hoping to do some fall baseball if the county allows us. Hunter Football shares the fields with us and has agreed to continue the fall partnership we had with them last year.
