Hunter Cyprus Baseball 2020 Covid 19 Response Plan

 Social distancing: Individual households must sit at least 6 feet apart from other parties.

• Healthy participants only: Any players, coaches, or spectators who are sick will not be allowed at games or practices.  Coaches must check players for COVID-19 symptoms prior to games.  Players who have household members with symptoms must stay home from games. All state COVID-19 guidelines apply.

• Any visitors, Coach or Players who have any of the following will not be allowed to attend games or be allowed at the park:
  • Fever in past 7 days
  • Any form of Cough in past 7 days.
  • Any contact with a known person who has Covid19 in past 15 days
• Equipment: Players are discouraged from sharing equipment and if sharing is needed coaches will ensure that the equipment is sanitized in between players using it.

• Umpires: Will provide new balls for each game and sanitize foul balls before being put back in play. (N/A for Tball/Rookie)
• Required hand washing: Players required to wash hands or use sanitizer between every inning. Coaches to provide adequate hand sanitizer for every player.
• Clean dugouts: Coaches will be required to sanitize dugout bench prior to their games. Players/Coaches are asked to wear masks in the dug out when social distancing can not happen. If a team can not abide by this we will have the players sit 6 feet apart on the bleachers.
• Bleachers: will be reserved for players only and sanitized throughout the day.
• Entry and exit plan: To limit the number of people gathering between games incoming teams cannot enter the complex until the team they are replacing has left. We recommend waiting beyond the outfield fence. Teams done playing must exit the park in a timely manner.
• No congregating: Do not congregate in groups before or after games.
• 6 feet apart: Social distancing rules apply when in lines for the restroom, concessions, and all other times when possible.
• Game times: Games will be staggered to limit congestion entering/exiting the park.
• End of game: Lining up to shake hands with the opposing team is not permitted.
• Good hygiene: Please teach players safe hygiene as it pertains to game days.
• Food/ Drinks: No sharing of food or drinks in the dugout, seeds are only allowed if using a cup to spit in.
• Spectators: All guests need to abide by the state’s safety guidelines. Guests with minor children must keep children with them and not allow them to roam the complex. Limit spectators to 2 adults per player.
• Restrictions: These restrictions can be adjusted as needed with the state guidelines.
• Snack Bar: Will follow state guidelines for cleanliness.  We will provide a limited menu, more prepackaged items, no drink refills, and we will provide a cup for seeds. Our order line and pick up line are separate and we will help maintain a 6 ft distance between each person in line.
• Bathrooms: Will be cleaned regularly using state guidelines.
