GCYFL

We are the safest youth tackle football program in Southern California.

Founded in 2001, the GCYFL is the premier youth tackle league in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. We serve players ages 6 to 14. We are unrivaled in terms of our degree of organization and access to funding, and pride ourselves on league integrity and the quality of our youth tackle football experience. Our member chapters are some of the best youth tackle programs in California.

Our alumni succeed at the top high school football programs in the country and former GCYFL players are in top collegiate Division 1 programs and in the NFL. We are organized into carefully curated divisions that are separated by age and weight, and are one of the few truly weighted youth tackle leagues in the region. We emphasize player safety, developing deep and long-term football skills and fundamentals, and building individual and team character and values. We believe football brings communities and families together and can be a celebration of the best of who we are.
