Boys & Girls Club of Oak Ridge Athletics

About Us

Our organization began in 1958 when the Oak Ridge Boys Club first opened its doors. In 2008, our programming expanded to serve girls as well, and we officially became the Boys & Girls Club of Oak Ridge. Today, youth ages 5–17 can become Club members for a small annual fee and minimal weekly costs, with programs offered after school, during the summer, and on select holiday breaks. One of our proudest traditions is youth baseball and athletics. Through our leagues, practices, and game play, children learn the fundamentals of the sport while building teamwork, discipline, confidence, and sportsmanship. Baseball at the Club is about far more than wins and losses, it is about making friends, staying active, developing life skills, and learning what it means to be part of something bigger than yourself. Through our diversified athletic, social, educational, and enrichment programs, young players are given opportunities to grow both on and off the field, developing into confident leaders with GREAT FUTURES ahead of them.
To keep participation affordable for families, we rely on the support of United Way, state, federal, and corporate grants, foundations, fundraising events, and generous individual donors. We also depend on strong community partnerships and dedicated volunteers, especially coaches and team supporters who help make our baseball programs possible.
We need YOU to step up, get involved, and help us continue providing a positive, competitive, and character-building baseball experience for the youth of Oak Ridge.
