About Lincoln County Pop Warner (LCPW)
Founded in 2015, Lincoln County Pop Warner (LCPW) is a non-profit youth football and cheer organization based in Lincoln County, Georgia. Our mission is to provide youth in the Lincolnton area with the opportunity to compete against athletes from surrounding counties, all while upholding high academic standards.
Eligibility & Requirements
To participate in LCPW, athletes must be zoned for Lincoln County Schools. Proof of residency within the designated zone is required before any athlete can join the program. LCPW is a proud member of the National Pop Warner organization, operating under the Southeast Region and directly affiliated with East Georgia Pop Warner (USATF), which serves the greater CSRA.
Our Program
LCPW serves approximately 120 student-athletes between the ages of 5 and 12. Our dedicated board members, coaches, and team parents are committed to teaching not only proper football and cheer techniques, but also essential life skills such as sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and commitment—both on and off the field. Pop Warner emphasizes the importance of balancing athletic effort with academic achievement. We strive to ensure that our athletes understand the value of excelling in both areas.
Funding & Support LCPW's operations are funded through registration fees, fundraising efforts, and donations. Our organization is run entirely by volunteers, from the President to the Team Parent. We rely on the generosity of our community for continued support to keep our program thriving and accessible to all.
