NFL FLAG leagues are no contact, giving boys and girls of all abilities a chance to develop their fundamental football skills in a positive, inclusive environment. Our mission is to empower youth athletes and instill a lifelong passion for flag football through leagues that are engaging, fun, and accessible for everyone. With the support of the NFL, we provide a structured opportunity for kids to discover the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and friendship—both on and off the field.
League Details:
Registration: March 5th, 2026 - July 25th 2026
Season Dates: August 3rd, 2026 - October 17th, 2026
Age Groups: Coed 4-15 years old / Girls Division 6-15 yrs old (League age as of Jan 1 2026)
Registration Fee: $150.00 (Financial Aid and Payment Plan available) *All failed transactions through payment plan will be due by July 25th, 2026. No refunds will be issued after July 25th, 2026.
Practice Locations: Wesley Jones Park (Citrus Springs), Holden Community Park (Inverness), Beverly Hills Community Park (Beverly Hills), Lecanto Community Park (Lecanto) and Bicentennial Park (Crystal River). Practices are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Game Location: All Games to be played in Citrus County on Saturdays. Game fields will rotate through out the county.
Season Details: *Important Dates
July 15th: Coaches Meeting, all coaches and volunteers are invited. Talk strategy, ask questions and most importantly make some friends. Coaches meeting will be held at Glory Days restaurant 6:00pm
July 20th: Coaches will receive their rosters and start to contact the parents to schedule their practices and introduce themselves.
August 3rd - Team Practices will begin
August 29th: Week 1 Gameday
October 10th: Playoffs
October 17th: Championship
Coaches Needed!
As with any league, the success of the league is 100% dependent on parent involvement. We are currently looking for any Adults that love football, developing young athletes, and are willing to step up and be a Head Coach or Assistant Coach. It is very simple and fun to Coach your very own flag team as their is only 7-8 kids per team and you will be able to control your own practice and game schedule to fit in with your work schedule. All coaches can attend the voluntary "Coaches Clinic" at the player assessment. At the coaches clinic we provide all the tools it takes to win the Super Bowl including a playbook, strategies, and quick tutorial to the rules of flag football. The mission of the 352 Legends program is to empower and inspire young athletes in Citrus County and beyond to become legendary both on and off the field of play. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where boys, girls, and coed teams, can develop their skills, build character, and foster a lifelong love for the game.
