NY Female Flag Football (Formally run under Gridiron Partners & WFFFL) is an all-female youth and adult flag football program.  Programs run year-round for all levels.  WFFFL offers a unique opportunity to learn flag football while teaching confidence, skill and empowerment for female athletes of all ages.NY Female Flag Football includes: NY (Westchester) Female Flag Football:  Both Adult and Youth ProgramsHudson Valley Storm Flag Football:   Tournament Opportunities for Youth FemalesUPCOMING:  NY TRI-COUNTY FLAG FOOTBALL - Local travel league All in Sports: An All- Inclusive Sports experience for Adults.History:  Co-founded by Katie DiChiaro and Jennifer Kisslinger, starting in 2018 with SCC, with only 30 participants and quickly growing to 90 in two seasons. In 2020 when Covid hit, Katie and Jenn took their league outdoors to the town of Somers and built the first and largest recreational league in NY State, SYSO Girls flag football.Looking to extend their reach, Gridiron Partners and WFFFL was born providing leagues and clinics to females outside of Somers and beyond youth.  Katie and Jenn took part in initiating the first ever High School flag football teams in Section 1, currently the largest section in New York State at 40 teams.  Katie is on her 5th year coaching Somers Varsity Flag football and is currently on year three of Westchester's first travel/tournament flag football team, Hudson Valley Storm.During the development of High School Flag football, Katie started a women's league which is now 300+ women strong.  Women range from 23 and up with no age limit.  Summer League for both youth and women, have become a fun and exciting community event for all, showcasing that females belong on the football field and will always have a place there.Do you want to start a league in your area?  Reach out to [email protected]
