Refund Policy

DYAA Refund Policy For Recreational Soccer

 

1)    If a parent/guardian registers a child to play DYAA Recreational soccer and later requests a refund (for any reason) before August 1st for the fall season or before March 1st for the spring season DYAA will refund an amount equal to 75% of the player’s Registration Fee for that season.  The parent/guardian will not receive a refund of the on-line Administration Fee or the equivalent Administration Fee if the registration/payment was mailed to DYAA.  The parent/guardian will not receive a refund of the Uniform Fee if the uniform had already been ordered (thus purchased), but they will receive the uniform. 

 

 

2)    If a parent/guardian registers a child to play DYAA Recreational soccer and later requests a refund (for any reason) before August 1st and the day before the first scheduled game of the fall season or before March 1st and the day before the first scheduled game of the spring season, DYAA will refund an amount equal to 25% of the player’s Registration Fee for that season.  The parent will not receive a refund of the on-line Administration Fee or the equivalent Administration Fee if the registration/payment was mailed to DYAA. The parent/guardian will not receive a refund of the Uniform Fee if the uniform had already been ordered (thus purchased), but they will receive the uniform. 

 

 

3)    If a parent/guardian registers a child to play DYAA Recreational soccer and later requests a refund (for any reason) on the day of the first game of the fall season or thereafter or ON THE DAY of the first game of the spring season or thereafter, DYAA will not refund any portion of the player’s Registration Fee.  The parent will not receive a refund of the on-line Administration Fee or the equivalent Administration Fee if the registration/payment was mailed to DYAA. The parent/guardian will not receive a refund of the Uniform Fee if the uniform had already been ordered (thus purchased), but they will receive the uniform.

 

 

4)    In the event of unusual and extenuating circumstances, DYAA’s President and Vice President are authorized to alter DYAA’s refund policy if, in their shared opinion, the circumstances warrant same. That being said, none of the following would warrant a refund:

a.     a player’s inability to participate because of accident or injury

b.     a player’s inability to participate because of a family-related or school-related disciplinary decision

c.     a player’s inability to participate because of a player or family violation of DYAA’s Coode of Conduct

a player’s inability to participate because of a transportation-related matter
