Official Columbus Crew Network Club

 

In 2022 the Delaware Knights launched their “Striving for Excellence” initiative and, as part of that
initiative, started to go through the Crew’s thorough vetting process to achieve official Columbus Crew
Network Club status. Following on-site visits at the Crew’s worldclass pro-training facility and passing
the due-diligence and selection process, the Knights became an official Crew Network Club in Spring
2023.
Being part of the Crew Network provides the Knights’ youth players, coaches, and parents access to
unique training and game experiences and opportunities.

• Knights Players Benefits: As a Crew affiliate club our players get notified of unique training opportunities held by the Crew (e.g., Crew Futures Program held at the historic Crew stadium). Crew affiliate clubs are also tapped by Crew for the Crew’s Pre-Academy player nominations. A unique opportunity to be scouted by Crew Coaches and Scouts for their prestigious Youth Academy.
  

• Knights Coaches Benefits: As a Crew affiliate Club our Knights coaches receive access to the Crew’s coaching staff and coach education events (e.g., Crew Coach Apprenticeship Program). This access empowers our Knights coaches to learn and benefit from the Crew’s professional coach team which is assembled of leading coaches from the US, Europe, and South America. Coach training events are hosted at the very facility the Crew’s professional players practice and thus provide unique insights into professional soccer coach environments.

• Parents Benefits: Besides the obvious benefits from having your player train with and play for a club with collaborative ties to an MLS club, the Crew Network Affiliation also means that parents will be informed of selected special events in advance and before they book out. Discounts for certain special Crew events can also be offered at the Crew’s discretion.
