Announcement Regarding Tryouts
Tryouts for all Norcal Clubs/Teams have officially opened as of May 12th, see below.
We want to be sure parents and players understand that tryouts are open to any and all players without notice or permission from their current club. There are no restrictions if a player is interested in participating in another clubs tryouts and can do so as they please.
Official statement from Norcal Premier: "Sessions held during the NorCal tryout window are open to any player regardless of club affiliation, and players may attend tryouts without notice or permission from the club that they are currently registered to."
Furthermore, once the tryout window closes players are ineligible to tryout for another club and/or play for another club in Norcal competitions without written permission form the current clubs DOC.
To sum it up, players have a limited time to try out and decide whether they would like to join another club.
We are finding that many parents and players are unaware of the tryout window and rules. Please share!
