Riccardo La Barbera

Born and grown in Torino, Italy. Moved to California in 2012.

Player for 20 years, played as youth professional for 8 years. 7 years in FC Juventus, Torino, and 1 year at Alessandria Calcio (serie C).
Bachelors degree in sport science and masters degree in coaching science and training techniques, final dissertation in sport psychology performance, at SUISM, university of Torino.

In Italy PE teacher in elementary schools and personal trainer, working in youth soccer for 11 years (with players from the age of 4 to 19) as technical skills trainer, head coach, soccer school coordinator, strength and conditioning coach, tactical assistant, technical director of youth development. Head coach for 3 years in Juventus soccer school with 8 years old boys, in Torino, Italy.

In California, worked at MYSA- Modesto Ajax United as head coach for boys and girls, and technical director of U8-U11 boys and girls.
From 2014 Involved with Norcal premier working as coach for PDP (player development program) and IDP (international development program).
