Meet Our Coaches


The mission of each Goal Dreams of America coach is to empower our athletes to become the best  possible version of themselves both on the field and off.  Creating individuals that are well prepared with the essential tools needed to be successful leaders in the community.

Steven Lopez, Director of Coaching



Coach Steven has been coaching youth sports for 8 years at both the recreational and competitive level.  He has extensive experience as a player and coach, as he has worked with children as young as two years and as old as sixteen years old.  Coach Steven is directly affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation, and has attained both the F and E coaching licenses.  His coaching philosophy consists of fundamental, technical and tactical development.  Coach Steven strongly emphasis on creating team camaraderie, building character and keeping the game fun at all levels.

Guillermo Arrieta, Manager



Coach Guillermo is a graduate of Christopher Columbus High School and is currently finishing up his Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Physical Education .  He holds a Class E and F license with the FYSA and looks forward to furthering his knowledge in the coaching field to be the best version of himself as a coach to better his players.  "It's not how many times you fail or fall; it's how fast you get up and try again", is a motto he firmly believes in and instills in his players.  Guillermo spends his day as the Physical Education instructor and Athletic Director at Bridgeprep Private School and dedicates his evening to the children of Goal Dreams as Manager & Head Coach.  He has worked with children in the sports industry for over 8 years and feels that "discipline builds character for a better future".  

Amanda Gonzalez, Head Coach



Coach Amanda has been with Goal Dreams of America for last four years, and is currently a student at FIU, majoring in sports medicine.  Amanda grew up playing soccer here in Miami, Florida both at the recreational and competitive level.  Although Amanda only plays for her personal enjoyment at the moment, she continues to follow her passion for soccer in her career path to becoming an athletic trainer.  She is the Head Coach of our U4 and U6 team, and primarily focuses on the fundamental and motor development of our new, young athletes.
