Goal Dreams’ sessions main objective is for all children to have FUN playing soccer. The fundamentals of soccer are implemented into a fun practice using equipment and the child’s own imagination, skill and creativity. Sessions begin with a 15 minute warm up period where we stretch and perform different types of running exercises. The warm-up is followed by dividing the children into groups where they later move from station to station learning and performing soccer drills and finishing with a scrimmage. Every week, we review the previous weeks lesson, proceeded by the new lesson for that week.
Practice sessions run approximately 1 hour, depending on the group’s age and ability and frequent water breaks are taken to maintain a proper level of hydration. Goal Dreams prides itself in the encouragement of children, teamwork and the enhancement of a positive self-esteem.
