Position: Intern/Game Reporter

Part Time,10-20 hours weekly, depending on the time of season.

(Description)
This position is strictly to provide live updates, stats, play by play interaction and more, for girls high school basketball using our girls twitter handle. Facebook, and Instagram are also to be utilized with pictures, score updates, and stats, promoting AlamoCityHoops GBB (ACHGBB) coverage throughout the Greater San Antonio area and beyond. Availability on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays is critical for this position during the high school season (November through March). On average, this position will receive 3-5 weekly assigned games.

Performance and flexibility can be considered for more assignments during the high school season. The monitoring and promotion of social media outside of game coverage is also expected.

During the Girls AAU season of March through July, ACHGBB will be hosting 2 events, that will also require coverage. There will be opportunities during the AAU season to cover events and travel throughout the area in doing so. Reporters availability will be confirmed prior to the event being assigned.

(Experience)
Strong familiarity with the game of basketball, knowledge of basic concepts and terminology, and thorough familiarity with sets and schemes for both offense and defense. Preferred playing or coaching experience at a high school, AAU level, or higher.

(Requirements)
High School graduate. Reliable, personal transportation and a mobile device or lap top in order to provide coverage. The candidate must possess tremendous work ethic, initiative, be goal oriented, excellent professionalism and personality. This position is very visible and the candidate will be representing AlamoCityHoops all around Greater San Antonio, the Texas Tri-Regions and beyond.
