2016 CSTAR Soccer U8 Team Competed GPS Season-end Jamboree
On November 13th, 2016, CSTAR soccer team Barcelona competed at GPS season-end jamboree . It is made up of six U8 youth soccer players living in Newton or its neighboring towns: Albert, Aaron, Hongting, Brayden, Lucas and Brian. Youths competed in a friendly and athletic way, and finally the third game was won by our team against GPS red team.
GPS held FUN/FREE event that was taking place at Acton HS, 88 Hayward Road, for all U8 and U7 Boys and Girls teams. A program named as Early Development League is where we help develop younger soccer players and get them to experience there first taste of competitive soccer in a fun and friendly environment.
On November 13th this one day event was bringing much audience. It was a friendly nopressure event where everyone got to put into practice the skills they have been training on. The scores were not recorded as it was all about development and having a positive first soccer experience. Each team played 3 games and each game lasted 25 minutes so it really gave a chance for the young kids to have fun and played some soccer in fun/competitive atmosphere.
Boston CSTAR with all its volunteering parents will commit to bring more sports fun to Bostonians.
