Southwest Virginia Rush Soccer Club invites all interested soccer players to attend our Player Identification Days. Here players will be evaluated for placement on one of our competitive travel teams. There are no costs associated with the tryout and Southwest Virginia Rush Soccer Club Teams are open to all youth.

Register for tryouts in 3 easy steps!
All current SWVA Rush players and all potential players wishing to join SWVA Rush will need to register. New players must create an account.
All notifications will come to the email address used for tryout registration. Make sure to check spam folders or the promotions folder if you use Gmail, this will ensure you don’t miss these important notifications.

What you need to know about tryouts
- All session dates and times are subject to change. Please check back at the start or tryouts to ensure that the schedule hasn't change. Changes due to weather will be sent via email to the address used for tryout registration.
- You must attend all sessions indicated on the schedule in your location. If for some reason your player is to miss a session, please send an email to the Technical Director and let them know your situation. You should include your age group
- If you are out of town or have an injury or concerns about COVID-19. Please register for tryouts and, when prompted, state your reasons, and desired play level. A member of our staff will reach out to you directly to discuss alternative options.
- Be prepared to play soccer! Bring your ball and plenty of water.
- Arrive 30 minutes early. This will ensure you have plenty of time to check-in if lines are long.
- Check-in at the welcome tent.
Placement notifications and acceptance
- All notifications will come to the email address used for tryout registration.
- All players will receive a placement notification within seven (7) days of the final tryout session, this email will come from the Technical Director.
- All accepted players will receive an acceptance email (via Sports Connect), and you will be asked to complete the tryout acceptance link within the email.
- Players must accept the position within 48 hours of the offer in order to guarantee their position on the roster.
