Rod Streater considers it an honor to return to his high school each year in Burlington, New Jersey to host a free football camp with his former teammate, WR Kashif Moore. They began this camp in 2014 and have more than 200 kids attend the camp annually. Their coach and staff help recruit the kids and assist with the camp. Each child receives a t-shirt and a lunch. They help the youth players with coaching techniques, drills, routes, and fundamentals.
As professional athletes, they understand the importance of giving back to the sport that they love. Rod believes all athletes should either host a free camp or participate in one every year. You can’t forget about the coaches who helped you reach “your dream”. To Rod Streater, the most important part of the day is the opportunity to motivate and encourage these athletes to “Catch” their dream. It is also a special day to share with Kashif and their Coach and staff. However, this year… we are even more excited because Kashif and Rod are teammates again, this time with the Kansas City Chiefs. Get ready….they are bringing the Chiefs Kingdom to Burlington!
