The league is nationwide, with regional summer competition. In order to qualify for nationals, teams must win the regional summer league. The league is designed for players seeking to compete at the top level, against several high level teams in the area. 

Super Y offers players the opportunity to play competitive games in what typically is the off-season for most clubs, enhancing player development.

Super Y is a summer league that offers further development for players looking to compete and play in a National Championship. The Super Y National Championships take place in Florida in December each year.
