U7-U10 Academy Soccer is an introduction of competitive youth soccer, focusing on the enhanced development of players in four key areas: technical ability, tactical understanding, physical strength, and mental toughness. 
For the 2020-2021 soccer year, players born any time in the calendar years of 2011-2014 are eligible to try out for an Academy team. 

Komets River Plate Academy Soccer players train more frequently, compete against players and teams from nearby communities, and strive to achieve excellence as a citizen, student, and player-representative of Komets River Plate Soccer Club.
Academy teams compete in the Indiana Soccer League Fall and Spring seasons, are coached by US Soccer certified coaches, and participate in an end-of season tournament in Center Grove.
