South Shore Soccer Club (https://www.southshoresoccerclub.com/) is excited to announce our strategic Player Exchange relationship with Lions Gibraltar FC (http://www.lionsgibraltarfc.com/football.html).
Over the past several years, our Club has been cultivating strategic relationships that would truly benefit our young athletes by introducing higher level of playing opportunities. One of which is with Lions Gibraltar FC. During his time as Football Development Officer and Coach Development Officer for Lions Gibraltar FC, Adrian Parral was instrumental in helping to forge this relationship.
Adrian Parral kicked off the first of many Player Exchanges between the two clubs Summer, 2017 by traveling with four Senior Team and International Players to NY.

These players integrated with several teams to train and play friendly matches across Long Island.
August, 2018, Adrian traveled with the Lions Gibraltar FC Ladies Senior Team to NY where they played friendly matches against, Wantagh, Brentwood NPL and Stony Brook teams.
For the first time in our Club’s history, five players are traveling to Gibraltar February, 2019, with their coaches, to train with the Lions Gibraltar FC Ladies Senior Team and play friendly matches against the Gibraltar FA GU16 National Team and a match against Algeciras in Spain.
Our Lions United FC Premier Teams are already planning their next full squad trip!!

Original founded as the West Babylon Our Lady of Grace Soccer Club in the ‘70s, The South Shore Soccer Club has existed as a youth, community based, soccer club for nearly 5-decades. Bringing recreational and competitive levels of play to the south shore of Long Island. In 2017, the South Shore Soccer Club introduced the Lions United FC Academy to their members and community.
Lions United FC was formed “to look at the path of player development differently as well as bring a higher level of training and play to our members and community. Led by our Club’s Vice Presidents, Joe Bianco and Joe Stango, I’m so proud of all our volunteers and their annual charity efforts, the nearly two dozens College Scholarships we issue every year as well as their countless number of community engagement hours. Our volunteers are the backbone that keep our club running day-by-day. Starting in 2017, with the expansion of our services to include the Lions United FC Premier Teams, our community South Shore Soccer Club now has an affordable high quality Academy. We are uniquely positioned to truly have a place for every player to play” said their current club President, Robert Fifield.
