Summary of Duties
*note: this is just a summary and the Bylaws have a more in depth description

President

a)  The chief executive officer of the corporation and shall supervise and control all activities, meetings, and affairs of the corporation.
b)  Perform all duties prescribed to him/her by the Board of Directors; execute deeds, mortgages, bonds, contracts, and negotiations
c)  Reschedule games as needed throughout the Season and Playoffs
d)  Appoint all committees and supervise the activity thereof
e)  Review finances with the Treasurer and be one of the 2 required signatures on checks.

Vice President

a) Shall perform the duties of the president in his/her absence
b) coordinate with the President prior to monthly meetings and as needed between meetings

Baseball Commissioner

a)  Shall act as a liaison between Baseball Coaches, Head of Umpires, and the Board of Directors
b)  Be aware of field conditions
c)  Monitor baseball division activities and relate any needs of the division to the board;
d) Serve on the Rules Committee

Softball Commissioner

a) Shall act as a liaison between Softball Coaches, Head of Umpires, and the Board of Directors
b) Be aware of field conditions
c) Monitor softball division activities and relate any needs of the division to the board
d) Serve of the Rules Committee

TBall Commissioner

a) Shall act as a liaison between TBall Coaches, Head of Umpires, and the Board of Directors
b) Be aware of field conditions
c) Monitor TBall division activities and relate any needs of the division to the board
d) Serve of the Rules Committee

Secretary

a)Shall record and maintain minutes of all meetings
b) Prepare monthly meeting agenda
c) Be the custodian of league records
c)Schedules and gives proper notice of meetings and events to all the Board of Directors
d)Prepares correspondence and communications on behalf of the league
e) Maintain AYBSandT's social media and website

Treasurer

a)Maintains the finance books, provide an account of league financial records, and deliver all appropriate books and accounts to the league Tax Accountant for filing
b) Shall be responsible for the deposit of league funds
c) Schedules and issues payment for league obligations
d) Recommends a season budget to the Board of Directors
e)Serve on the Audit Committee

Registrar of Players

a) Shall be responsible for registration of league players and the collection of registration fees
b) Schedule Registration dates and distributes proper notifications to eligible players
c) Be responsible for the placement of registered players when needed after league draft date
d) Schedule tryouts and draft dates and times
e) Be responsible for developing all uniform standards for all teams; obtain pricing of all uniforms from a minimum of (2) uniform suppliers for board approval
f) distribute all league uniforms; provide coaches with uniforms
g) be responsible for initial contact of potential sponsors in writing

Head of Umpires

a) Shall hire, train and schedule sufficient number of umpires to officiate games
b) Provides Treasurer with umpire schedules and record of assignments for payment disbursement
c) Keeps an accurate inventory of umpire equipment and reports to the Equipment Manager any umpire equipment that needs to be replaced
d) Reports to the Board all umpires pay rates for approval
e) Must provide work permits for any umpire under the age of 18 to the Treasurer
f) Must keep all accurate files and forms for each umpire
g) Serve on the Rules Committee

Field Manager

a) Maintain the fields
b) Schedule field maintenance and cause such maintenance to be performed
c) Coordinate the restructuring or creating of any new field for use during the season

Equipment Manager

a) Shall be responsible to inventory all Baseball, Softball and TBall divisions equipment prior to the start of, and the end of each season
b) Purchase all equipment for the current season
c)  Designate specific dates for equipment to be distributed to and collected from the coaches
d)  Distribute equipment to all Baseball, Softball and TBall coaches
e)  Maintain a liability sheet for all coaches to sign at the time of equipment distribution
