Rec+ (Travel) Soccer is designed to be more competitive and still maintain the focus on fundamentals and having fun. Merrillville Youth Soccer Club is offering teams in the U10, U12, & U14 Divisions. 

Merrillville Youth Soccer Club is a member of NWISL (Northwest Indiana Soccer League), which is comprised of 22 neighboring towns' soccer clubs. Clubs range from LaPorte to Lansing, and Hammond to Rensselaer. Teams are divided based on skill level in to Groups. Teams are divided as evenly as possible in Groups based on skill level and proximity. We try our best to get teams close by, but these cannot always be done, so some travelling might and will be necessary. 

Divisions:

U10: 8, 9, 10

U12: 10, 11, 12

U14: 12, 13, 14

All Rec+ teams will have a travel uniform which will be updated every 2 years (example: this is 2021, next uniform update will be in Fall 2023). If your child transfers from one division to another within the Rec+ League, a new uniform is NOT mandatory and long as the uniform fits within the 2 year period.  After you register your child or children, please click the Rec+ Uniform tab to begin ordering your uniform. 

Practices will be separate, in respect to teams, once a week. Coaches will contact you about practice times. Games will be Sundays, occasionally Saturdays and the season will consist of 8 games. 4 "Home" and 4 "Away"
