To All Referees and Possible Referees
The CVSA is looking for referees for both of our travel and in-house soccer matches. ALL in-house and travel referees please contact [email protected] with any questions or concerns.
The following Credentials are required to become a Referee
All new referees obtaining Grade 8 Licenses:
To obtain your Referee certificate, you must first obtain a Pa State Police Report, Child Abuse history and a FBI Criminal Background Check: Below are the links to obtain these clearances.
How To Obtain The Required Documents
PA State Police Report:
PA State Police Criminal Record Checks are free for volunteers and cost approximately 22.00 for those who are paid. They can be obtained online by visiting the State Police web site - Click Here. Child Abuse History Report:
PA Child Abuse History Clearance requests may be made online - Click Here They are free for volunteers and the cost is approximately 8.00 for those who are paid. FBI Criminal Background Check:
To request an FBI Fingerprint Clearance: Click Here This link will take you to the page managed by Identogo for the Commonwealth of PA to help individuals attain an FBI clearance. Attached at this link is a PDF with instructions and the Service Code you'll need to schedule an appointment for your digital fingerprinting. The approximate cost will be 21.35.
Once obtaining all clearances, please go to wparef.gameofficials.net and create an account.
Select “New User?” On left hand side.
Select “I have NEVER BEEN registered”.
Once looking over requirements that you should have already, check box and hit “continue”
Fill out information for account and hit “Save (Create New Account)”
Existing referees:
Please make sure your clearances and recertifications are up to date! This should be checked after every season.
