Messiah College Softball 2022 September Elite ID Camp IV

Camp Cost: $75 Recruit ID clinic is for 2023 and 2024 grad years ONLY - (we have other ID clinics for other grad years - Please do NOT register unless you are 2023 and 2024 grad.
ID clinic and afternoon visit includes meeting with professors in your area of study as well as receiving academic and financial aid information from Messiah admissions. Times begin as early as 11am and as late as 1pm for the visit (lunch included if you are here by 1pm).
ID clinic runs from 3:30pm-6:30pm

[email protected] once you have registered online and let her know your area of study.
Coach Weaver will set up an appointment with a professor in that area and give you details of times, etc. closer to 9/9. Be prepared to arrive by approximately 11am on 9/9.
Participants are welcome to stay after clinic and eat dinner with the softball team as well as enjoy a home soccer game under the lights Friday night. Participants can leave whenever they need to leave but are more than welcome to stay and hang out with the team until the soccer game ends - soccer game is from 7-9pm.
Come get lots of academic information as well as financial aid information, see the campus up and running, enjoy the ID clinic with the current team and coaches as well as hang out with the team on Friday night.
Camper safety is our highest priority. Messiah University reserves the right to cancel camp if necessary in order to comply with local, state, and federal guidelines and recommendations. Messiah University will implement safety protocols and strategies closer to the time of the camp, in accordance with CDC and PA DOH guidelines in order to minimize risk of spread of COVID-19. These details will be outlined closer to the start of camp.
Camp Description
Our camp is modeled after our own very successful Messiah Softball program. We have been providing a quality camp learning experience for over 27 years.
This camp is an ID camp for Messiah College Softball. You must play on a travel team at a high elite level to attend. Our camp is run like a college program and will put you thru the rigors of college softball as well as taking time to provide fundamental skill instruction in a highly elite softball atmosphere.
Our camp will give you a college elite level experience as you also get to work with our coaching staff and players and experience college softball with our program.

Facilities:
Starry Field is the home of the Messiah College softball team. It features the same infield mix as the infield at the beautiful Orioles' ballpark Camden Yards, along with enclosed brick dugouts, electronic scoreboard, a press box, audio system, outdoor batting cages, and a fully enclosed playing field.
About the staff:
Coach Weaver has a 30 year tradition at Messiah, as a player, assistant coach and now head coach for the last 22 years. Assistant coaches Alex Quigley, Brad Brubaker, Taylor Dorman, and Dana Randall have over 20+ years experience and have their own specialty areas that they help instruct. The Messiah College Softball players are a vital part of our staff. We also employee several grads from our program who are now teachers and coaches in the area. All of our staff are committed to great instruction and high standards while looking after the well-being of each camper.
Softball at Messiah:
The Messiah College Softball team has a winning tradition and a tradition of excellence. During the last 4 seasons the team record is 155-30 as well as winning 4 conference championships, three regional championships and one National championship. In 2016 the team competed for a National championship for the second time in school history and finished second in the country. The team holds itself to a high standard of excellence on and off the field.
Alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, tobacco products of any kind and illegal drugs or substances will not be permitted. Any prescription drugs must be checked in with the camp trainer upon arrival. Each camper will be responsible to take their own prescriptions and keep them in their rooms - but camp trainer must be aware that any prescription drugs are on campus.
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
Camp Check-in
Check in the morning of camp 15 min. before camp begins. Registration location and details will be emailed to you closer to camp. Please register early if you wish to participate in campus tours and college informational sessions before camp begins.
Meals
Some meals will be provided - - please pack your own clearly labeled water bottles for each day.

Refund Policy:
In case of emergency only refunds will be given minus a non-refundable $30 registration fee.
