Sara has lived in Darrington her whole life. She graduated from Darrington High School, works as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at Darrington Elementary School and is an active member in the community. Both Sara and her husband Max volunteer to coach for many of our youth sports. Max is also a member at large and helps tremendously with gear/equipment, field work, and many other things. Together they have two children who both attend school in Darrington. When Sara is not at work or volunteering, she is working on her bachelor's degree to teach Elementary education. She looks forward to graduating and teaching in Darrington like all the wonderful teachers she had growing up. Sara puts in many days and hours helping DJAA run smoothly. She has high goals for helping this organization grow into an amazing youth sports program that works hand in hand with the community, volunteers, and our wonderful sponsors. Sara serves as our Board President and also manages football, volleyball, fundraising, apparel.

 


Kelsea McCaulley

Kelsea has lived in Darrington most of her life. Kelsea graduated from Darrington High School. After graduating Kelsea married her husband Martin, who is a member at large and a volunteer coach, together they have 4 children who attend Darrington School District. Kelsea had the privilege to coach high school cheerleading in Darrington for a few years. Kelsea works part-time at her mom's family run business in Stanwood. Kelsea and her husband are active members in our community. She is an amazing addition to DJAA and puts in countless hours to help make everything run smoothly. Even with her busy schedule she is able to volunteer coach our youth sports. Kelsea has great visions for DJAA and is helping us grow into an amazing organization. Kelsea serves as our Board Vice President and also manages football, cheerleading, concessions, and fundraising.





Taylor James
Board Treasurer
Sponsorship Manager

Taylor has lived in Darrington for almost 3 years. She moved here with her husband Tory and their 3 wonderful children. Taylor and her husband have helped sponsor DJAA and her husband coached our Junior football team. They are always willing to pitch in and lend a helping hand. They have the biggest hearts and make a great addition to our small town. Taylor is going to make a great member to the DJAA board as treasurer and will help keep everything running smoothly. Taylor serves as our Board Treasurer and will soon manage our baseball/softball programs.




Angel Blake

Angel has lived in Darrington her whole life. She is also a graduate of Darrington. She works at the school as a Para and also as a caregiver in the community. She is married to her husband Steve and together they have a daughter. Angel is very involved with all youth sports and activities throughout the community. She also volunteers and coaches our youth basketball and t-ball programs. She is very outgoing and loves the color pink. She is one of the most positive people around and has a laugh and smile that is incredibly contagious. We are lucky to have her on the board but also as a coach. Our youth sports organization wouldn't be complete without her bubbly personality and incredible contribution. Angel serves as our Board Secretary and also manages our basketball program and is our public relations manager. 


Members at Large

Our members at large play a huge role in our organization. They not only attend meetings and help with fundraising, but they do so much more. They help us split the teams, pick coaches, get gear bags ready, clean and organize our equipment shed, inventory our equipment, community outreach, help with sign ups, fittings, gear hand out, and so much more. Not only do they do all of these things but almost all our members at large are also volunteer coaches! They are a great addition to DJAA and also make an amazing addition to our community!
