Background Screening for VolunteersAll DVAA coaches, assistant coaches and board members are required to complete and pass a background check before being able to engage in any league or team activities. Background checks have become a requirement for youth sports programs and a requirement that the DVAA supports with keeping our children safe being the first priority of this organization. The background checks for DVAA are completed at the expense of the DVAA.Once you have submitted your volunteer coaching request, please visit the DVAA's background check website and complete the background screening form. You will be notified when the background screening has been completed.Coaching Certification Requirements
The DVAA requires two certifications in order to coach which links are provided below. DVAA reimburses upon successful course completion and request submitted to DVAA.
