Cypress Baptist Church was established in 1977 with the vision to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible. We believe that Sports Ministry is one of the most effective ways to engage the community and to meet people where they are. Sports is a language that is spoken across all manner of cultures and communities. It is a common denominator that allows relationships to be built. When Jesus ministered to people He met a physical need, and then met a spiritual need. Sports is not the overall mission, but rather it’s the vehicle to share the Gospel.

Renovations and an extensive expansion project began in 2021 on the building that is now the 3:16 Field House with the goal of establishing an elite facility where athletes, families, and everyone has an opportunity to train, compete, and hear about the love of Jesus. Our hope is that each and every person that walks through the doors of the 3:16 Field House will have a life-changing encounter with Jesus and will respond to the good news of the Gospel, and that they will be able to grow in their relationship with Christ.

The 3:16 Field House exists to be a light in our community, state, & region for families, teams, and individuals to hear the Gospel and have an opportunity to grow both on the field as well as in their faith. You can truly be a champion on and off the field only through having a relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to help equip each person, family, and team that comes to our facility to live a life on mission as a Champion for Christ by Loving God and Loving People.
