Iron County Little League covers the towns of: Alpha, Amasa, Caspian, Crystal Falls, Gaastra, and Iron River.
We play an inter league division with Dickinson County.
Children aged 7-15 can play baseball. Girls aged 7-15 can play softball.
Each year Little League releases an age chart that we use.
** Please note, 15 years olds can play junior league if: they do not pitch and they do not play on a high school baseball or softball team.
FAQ:
* Everyone involved in Little League and Softball are volunteers. We can ALWAYS use more help. ALL volunteers need to complete a background check BEFORE working in our program.
* Games take place in the evenings during the week (Monday- Friday). Often two per week, unless we have a weather issue that requires a make-up game to be played.
* We play teams within an hour radius of our home fields. (Juniors may be further.) ICLL DOES NOT set the game schedules.
* Practices are set by our coaches. It is likely they will be held two or more days a week. Usually the older a team is, the more they practice. Practice may take place at a different location depending on the game schedule.
