Most practices and games are on grass, where it's safe and fun for all to learn the basics of baserunning, fielding and hitting. All players hit from a tee, use official Little League T-Balls and no outs are recorded. There are no current restrictions on bat certifications for T-Ball but the bat must be actual "T-Ball Bats" and not small baseball bats. T-ball teams will meet twice a week for practice and games, during weekdays in the late afternoon or early evening. There is a time limit for each game. Practice times may vary leading up to Opening Weekend, games are usually played on Tuesdays and Thursdays, once games begin there will be no more official practices. No weekend games with the exception of Opening Weekend (April 25th) which is a traditional fun celebration including a parade (please stay tuned to the website and the Tri-County facebook page for scheduling updates).

- ROOKIE SOFTBALL: This is a new division focusing on Softball specific skills to help girls transition from T-Ball to Softball you will find it under the "Softball Program" in the registration portal. They will play with a 10 inch soft core softball for small hands and an appropriately sized bat. There are currently no restrictions on bats for this division, and t-ball bats are still acceptable.

Majors/Minors Baseball (Ages 8-12)
Players pitch to each other 100% of the time with an official Little League hard ball. These divisions play with Certified USA Bats. This is Little League Baseball at its finest. Minor league is the next step after Rookie League and the start of competitive play, usually ages 8-10 although younger players may still play up and older players just starting out may play an extra season in Minors before moving on to Majors. Scores and standings for both Majors and Minors will be kept and teams will compete for the chance at a regular season championship tournament. Players will be drafted to teams by coaches after a brief skills assessment meant to balance each team, with older players filling the Majors first. It is for this reason that we are unable to accommodate special requests for certain teams, teammates, and coaches. We do, however, try to group siblings together for car pooling purposes when possible. Major League games are on Mondays and Wednesdays with the possibility of Saturday games.  Minor League games usually run on Tuesdays and Thursdays with exception of Opening Weekend (April 25) and the End of Season Championship Games (please stay tuned to the website and the Tri-County facebook page for scheduling updates).
Cost - $110

Players will be drafted to teams by coaches after a brief skills assessment at the begining of the season, this is to balance each team with older players filling the Majors first. It is for this reason we are unable to accommodate special requests for certain teams, teammates, and/or coaches. However we do try to group siblings together for car pooling purposes when possible.
