Registration for the 2026 All Star Season will begin after the end of the regular season. Tryouts are held shortly after registration ends.
What is it?
The Little League All-Star tournament is a competitive postseason competition where All-Star baseball/softball teams from each league in our area compete for a District Championship. If a team wins the District Tournament, then they move on to the State Tournament which is usually held on the west side of the state. For Majors level All-Star teams, if they continue winning, they will advance to Regionals and finally the Little League World Series. Only in official Little League play is it possible to go to the Little League World Series. All Stars are not a new season of baseball and players MUST have played in our 2026 regular season to participate.

Who is it for?
Our goal for 2026 is to have a 12U baseball team, and a 10U baseball team. We would also like to have a 12U Girls Softball Team and a 10U Girls Softball Team (All Stars Softball greatly depends on there being other teams to compete with, as well as participation from our league). Also if there is interest and coaches it is possible for Junior League Softball to have an All-Stars tournament team, as the Junior League World Series is held each year in Everest Park in Kirkland, WA.
All players 8-12 years old who played in minors or majors baseball and softball during the regular 2026 season are eligible for selection to an All-Star team. Once the Little League District 13 Tournament has been completed, if our All-Star Team does not move on to the State competition Little League is officially over for the year, however, other summer tournament teams may be formed independently of Tri-County at that time and continue to play in local competitions. Our goal is to have a core team for each category and age group listed above, committed ALL of these potential competitive Little League opportunities.
Why?
All-Star teams are a great opportunity for more competitive players to get more playing time in and experience a higher level of competition than what is offered during the regular season. Both players and their families build new friendships in the context of a competitive summer baseball environment, but, it is a significant and slightly uncertain time commitment. We are looking for both players and coaches who are ready to dedicate the time it takes to play a higher level of competitive summer baseball.
We realize other sports and summer camps are taking place at this time and try our best to schedule around those big events, however, some conflicts cannot be avoided and because your child's presence is critical to their teams success it will be up to families, not the coaches, to coordinate participation in essential practices and competitions if the team advances to other tournaments. Practices may run 5-6 times a week (practices and/or games may fall on Saturdays or Sundays), families will also have to provide travel and any needed accommodations for the tournaments listed below, a more firm practice schedule, will be released after the regular season ends and teams are formed.

Path to the Little League World Series.
Ever wonder how All-Star Teams make it to the Little League World Series?? The winner of our local District Tournament for each division would then be known as the "District 13" team and would then advance to the Washington State tournament. There they will battle the other 12 Washington District Teams for the state Little League Championship. For the younger Divisions the journey is over at the State Tournament, but for the 12U teams, if they continue to win they will continue to compete. The State Champion will then be known as "Team Washington State" and will advance to the next level, the Little League Northwest Regional Tournament. This is when they will begin to widely televise the games on ESPN and YouTube so families can watch the summer fun from home. This is also when Little League begins to assist families with costs. At Regionals "Team Washington" will battle teams like Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. The winner of that tournament will be known as the "Northwest Region" and will enter the brackets for the Little League World Series to play Little League teams from all over the world. Will you be watching and playing this summer?!
