Registration for the 2026 All-Stars Voting Pool is Open Below!

What is it?
The Little League All-Star tournament is a competitive postseason competition where All-Star baseball and softball teams from each league in our area compete for a District Championship. If a team wins the District Tournament, they then move on to the State Tournament which is usually held on the west side of the state. For Majors level All-Star teams (12U), if they continue winning, they will advance to Regionals and finally the Little League World Series. Only in official Little League play is it possible to go to the Little League World Series. All Stars are not a new season of baseball or softball and each player MUST have played in at least 12 games in our 2026 regular season to participate.

Who is it for? (Eligibility)
Our goal for 2026 is to have a 12U baseball team, and a 10U baseball team. We would also like to have a 12U Girls Softball Team and a 10U Girls Softball Team (please note, All Stars softball greatly depends on there being other teams to compete with, as well as enough girls from our league to form a viable team). Also if there is interest and coaches, it is possible for Junior League Softball to form an All-Stars tournament team, as the Junior League State Tournament AND World Series tournament is held this year in Kirkland, WA.

All players 8-12 years old (14 years for Juniors) who played least at 12 games this season in minors or majors baseball/softball during the regular 2026 season are eligible for selection to an All-Star team. Once the Little League District 13 Tournament has been completed (if our All-Star Team does not move on to the State competition Little League is officially over for the year) other summer tournament teams may be formed independently of Tri-County at that time and continue to play in local competitions. Our goal is to have a core team for each category and age group listed above, committed to ALL of these potential competitive Little League opportunities.

Why play All-Stars?
All-Star teams are a great opportunity for more competitive players to get more playing time in and experience a higher level of competition than what is offered during the regular season. Both players and their families build new friendships in the context of a competitive summer baseball environment, but, it is a significant and slightly uncertain time commitment. We are looking for both players and coaches who are ready to dedicate the time it takes to play a higher level of competitive summer baseball.

We realize other sports and summer camps are taking place at this time and try our best to schedule around those big events, however, some conflicts cannot be avoided and because your child's presence is critical to their teams success it will be up to families, not the coaches, to coordinate participation in essential practices and competitions if the team advances to other tournaments. Practices may run 5-6 times a week (practices and/or games can and will be scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays), while the District and TCLL League will try to provide some financial support through sponsorships and fund raising, families should plan on providing travel, meals, time and any needed accommodations for themselves and their players for the tournaments listed below. A more firm practice schedule and fund raising efforts will be announced after the regular season ends and teams are formed.

Starting in 2026 for BOTH Softball and Baseball an All-Stars Player Agreement will need to be signed in order to be considered for a Tri-County Little League All-Stars Team of your age bracket. This player agreement will ensure that standards and expectations are clearly listed and agreed to at the beginning of All-Stars competition. Please click here to download the All-Stars Player Agreement. If you cannot commit to all the items on the list but are still interested in All-Stars the agreement will give you an idea of how to plan for next year, but it is important that all the commitments and standards listed on the contract are applied equally to every player, therefore, exceptions cannot be granted by coaches, the board, or otherwise for individual families or players. After both the player and the parent have signed the agreement, please turn it in to your regular season coach in order to be considered for selection to an All-Stars Team. One contract needs to be signed per child, so if you have two kids interested in playing, each child will have to sign and turn in a Player Agreement to their respective coach.

All-Stars Coaches

We are also actively looking for coaches willing and able to commit their time and energy this summer to a baseball or softball All-Stars team. We will be looking at form possibly 4 or 5 All-Stars Teams for the above categories. In order to coach an All-Stars team you must be a registered Tri-County Volunteer with a valid ID, a current Background check on file,  and register for your desired program/position. Also starting in 2026 Tri-County Little League will be officially asking for the same level of commitment and professionalism if not more so from our All-Stars coaches as we are asking from our All-Stars players. You will find these expectations spelled out clearly in our 2026 All-Stars Coaching Agreement. We encourage all coaches interested in All-Stars to download this form by clicking here--> 2026 All-Stars Coaching Agreement. Carefully review it, sign it, then return it to Ben Shewchuk, our Coaching Coordinator. We cannot assign you as an All-Stars coach without completing this form. We strongly encourage prospective All-Stars parents to take a look at the standards and commitments that we are asking of our coaches, like wise we encourage coaches to go over the Player Agreement to review the standards that we are asking of our families and players.

The Path to the Little League World Series
Ever wonder how All-Stars Teams make it to the Little League World Series?? The winner of our local District Tournament for each division would then be known as the "District 13" team and would then advance to the Washington State tournament. There they will battle the other 12 Washington District Teams for the state Little League Championship.  For the younger Divisions the journey is over at the State Tournament, but for the 12U teams, if they continue to win they will continue to compete. The State Champion will then be known as "Team Washington State" and will advance to the next level, the Little League Northwest Regional Tournament. This is when they will begin to widely televise the games on ESPN, ESPN 2, ABC and YouTube so families can watch the summer fun from home. This is also when Little League begins to assist families with costs. At Regionals "Team Washington" will battle teams like Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. The winner of that tournament will be known as the "Northwest Region" and will enter the brackets for the Little League World Series to play Little League teams from all over the world at Howard J. Lamade and Volunteer Stadiums, in South Williamsport, PA with the championship game being played on August 30th this year. Will you be watching and playing this summer?!

Attention Interested Families:
If you looking at Summer Baseball or Softball and think your child might like to be considered for All-Stars for 2026 in addition to downloading and signing the All-Star Player Agreement please download the school enrollment form below and have your child's school office sign the form *BEFORE* the end of the school year as offices will close soon after the last day of school. Have the form signed and with you at tryouts. Click Here for alternatives, for residency verification, if your child does not attend public school there are several options. If your child DOES attend public school (or HomeLink) you only need to get the school enrollment form linked below signed.

Your child's birth certificate (not a photo copy) is also required for All-Star competition, these copies can be obtained from your county's courthouse. It does take a few days to get a hold of these documents in some counties and we have to have them by certain deadlines to even enroll your child in the tournaments to play, so we HIGHLY recommend you begin this process as soon as possible to be prepared for summer.

Thanks.
