All weights shall be determined with players in uniform, including playing shoes, without helmet, shoulder pads, and rib vest. Players not in danger of being overweight need not remove any equipment for weigh in.
D Team:
- Players must be in 1st or 2nd grade with a school document to prove grade, as of Dec. 31st of the playing year.
- The maximum weight shall be one hundred and thirty five (115) pounds at game time.
- Over-under Rule: A player in 3rd grade of the playing year and less than 65 pounds may play on ‘D’ Team.
C Team:
- Players must be in 3rd or 4th grade with a school document to prove grade, as of Dec. 31st of the playing year.
- The maximum weight shall be one hundred and thirty five (135) pounds at game time.
- Over-under Rule: A player in 5th grade of the playing year and less than 85 pounds may play on ‘C’ Team.
B Team:
- Players must be in 5th or 6th grade with a school document to prove grade, as of Dec. 31st of the playing year.
- The maximum weight shall be one hundred and sixty one (161) pounds at game time
- Over-under Rule: A player in 7th grade of the playing year and less than 100 pounds may play on ‘B’ Team.
A Team:
- Players must be in 7th or 8th grade with a school document to prove grade, as of Dec. 31st of the playing year.
- There are no maximum weights but the Halo Rule will be enforced.
Halo Rule- any player over one hundred and ninety one (191) pounds is not allowed to handle the ball unless it’s a fumble and have to play in between the tackles. On offense between tackles, players can pull.
