FSBL's In-house program for children ages 4 and up through multiple divisions. FSBL does partner with the Lincoln Way Baseball League for some of these divisions.

 

This division is for player’s age up to 5 yrs old. Playing age is determined as of 4/30/26. We recommend any 5 year old playing organized baseball for the first time to play T-Ball.

This is a non-competitive division that focuses on development of players. Main objective is to introduce baseball to the players and make it fun for them while developing basic skills.  

 

For 6 year old players who are ready to move on from T-Ball. At this level coaches pitch the whole game (4 innings) the first half of the season. During the second half of the season the players pitch two innings and the coach’s pitch two innings.  Playing age is determined as of 4/30/26.

This is a non-competitive division that focuses on development of players. No scores or stats are kept. Main objective is to introduce baseball to the players and make it fun for them while developing basic skills.  

 

 

This league is for all 7 and 8 year olds. Players pitch the entire game and score is kept. At this level, players will experience their first season playing competitive baseball. Players are exposed to most aspects of the game including umpires, kid pitch, walks, extra bases on hits etc. 

 

This division will take part in the Lincoln Way Area League. Frankfort Square will play surrounding participating towns during the season (Frankfort, Mokena, Tinley etc).  At the end of the season a tournament style playoff bracket is held.

The Mustang division is for players 9 and 10 years of age. This division keeps scores, stats and standings. This level only allows stealing once the ball crosses the plate/reaches the batter. At the end of the season a tournament style playoff bracket is held.  

 

This division will take part in the Lincoln Way Area League. Frankfort Square will play surrounding participating towns during the season (Frankfort, Mokena, Tinley etc).  At the end of the season a tournament style playoff bracket is held.

11 and 12 year olds play in this division. Scores, standings and stats are kept in this division. Players will play full competitive baseball as they are allowed lead-offs and able to steal from all bases.  At the end of the season a tournament style playoff bracket is held.

For players age 13 - 14 yrs. This league is played under the PONY League rules, including 80 ft. bases, and 54' pitching mound. The Pony Division is a competitive division best characterized by fewer players, fewer teams, and bigger fields. By now the players should have an understanding of the rules of the game and acquired the skills and attitude necessary for a more competitive game of baseball. Regular Major League rules are used.

The Champions Division is a baseball league that welcomes players between the ages of 4 and 18 who live in the School District 161 area. The league is designed to provide a fun and safe environment for players with physical or mental challenges that would keep them from playing in an unmodified league to learn and enjoy the game of baseball.

To ensure that every player has the opportunity to participate, buddies are available to assist players in the areas of batting, fielding, and base running when necessary. Buddies are also responsible for teaching players baseball skills and fundamentals. The coach of each team works with the players and buddies to set individual goals for each player.

The baseball skills and abilities of players on a typical Challenger team may vary significantly. For some players, a goal may be learning how to throw a baseball, while for others, a goal may be learning to field a ground ball, catch a fly ball, or swing the bat without the assistance of a coach/parent/buddy. Some players may even work towards improving their abilities so they do not need regular assistance. In these cases, one buddy may be able to “float” between several players on the field and provide assistance when needed. As players improve their baseball skills, they enjoy a sense of accomplishment as they achieve their goals.

The Champions Division will be capped at increments of 20 participants to ensure every player receives the attention and support they need to succeed.
