Frankfort Square Raptors Softball


Frankfort Square will now offer a Raptors travel softball program.  We will start with part time (PT) travel teams and will also offer a full time (FT) travel option as well.  Part time teams will play in the Chicagoland Sunday League like our part time baseball teams.   All PT teams are required to participate in our in-house program.  Travel games will be played once a week on Sundays during the spring season and tournaments starting in June.  

2027 Tryouts will be held this upcoming June/July.  
This will be the first time we offer an all-girls Raptor team!

Winter Skills Camp

Frankfort Square Baseball & Softball is excited to offer a Winter Skills Camp designed for young athletes looking to learn the fundamentals or sharpen their skills before the spring season begins!

Camp Details:
đź“… Dates: Saturday, February 7 & Saturday, February 21
🕑 Time: 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
đź“Ť Location: Lincoln-Way North High School Fieldhouse
👧 Ages: 4–11 (Grouped by age and sport)
đź’˛ Cost: $35 per athlete
âś… Registration covers both sessions

Led by Frankfort Square Baseball & Softball coaches, participants will work on hitting, throwing, and fielding drills. The last 30 minutes of each session will feature fun games with all baseball and softball players together!
This camp is perfect for athletes who are new to the game or want to improve their skills before the season starts.

Spots are limited—register today!

For the safety and focus of all participants, parents are not allowed inside the fieldhouse during camp sessions but are welcome to stay in the vestibule of the fieldhouse.

2026 Spring Registration - Softball

FSBL's In-house program for children ages 4 and up through multiple divisions. FSBL Softball will take part in the South Suburban Softball Conference League (SSC) league.


Registration fees include uniform


**All division prices listed do not include the mandatory raffle ticket purchase ($100) until you check out.
These tickets can be sold to get your money back. Drawings will be held each week for 6 weeks and a grand prize drawing at the end of the season. **


Division Description


 
Instructional
This division is for player’s age up to 6 yrs old. At this level coaches pitch the whole game (4 innings) the first half of the season. During the second half of the season the players pitch two innings and the coach’s pitch two innings.  Playing age is determined as of 12/31/25.

This is a non-competitive division that focuses on development of players. No scores or stats are kept. Main objective is to introduce softball to the players and make it fun for them while developing basic skills.  
 
 
 
Pinto
This league is for all 7 and 8 year olds. Players pitch the entire game and score is kept. At this level, players will experience their first season playing competitive softball. Players are exposed to most aspects of the game including umpires, kid pitch, walks, extra bases on hits etc. 
 
This division will take part in the South Suburban Softball Conference League (SSC) league. Frankfort Square will play surrounding participating towns during the season (Frankfort, Mokena, Tinley etc).  At the end of the season a tournament style playoff bracket is held. 
 
Playing age is determined as of 12/31/25
 
 
Mustang
The Mustang division is for players 9 and 10 years of age. This division keeps scores, stats and standings. This level only allows stealing once the ball crosses the plate/reaches the batter. At the end of the season a tournament style playoff bracket is held.  
 
This division will take part in the South Suburban Softball Conference League (SSC) league. Frankfort Square will play surrounding participating towns during the season (Frankfort, Mokena, Tinley etc).  At the end of the season a tournament style playoff bracket is held. 
 
Playing age is determined as of 12/31/25
 
 
Bronco
11 and 12 year olds play in this division. Scores, standings and stats are kept in this division. Players will play full competitive softball as they are allowed lead-offs and able to steal from all bases.  At the end of the season a tournament style playoff bracket is held.
 
This division will take part in the South Suburban Softball Conference League (SSC) league. Frankfort Square will play surrounding participating towns during the season (Frankfort, Mokena, Tinley etc).  At the end of the season a tournament style playoff bracket is held. 
 
Playing age is determined as of 12/31/2025
 
 
Pony
For players age 13 - 14 yrs. This league is played under the PONY League rules, including 80 ft. bases, and 54' pitching mound. The Pony Division is a competitive division best characterized by fewer players, fewer teams, and bigger fields. By now the players should have an understanding of the rules of the game and acquired the skills and attitude necessary for a more competitive game of softball. Regular Major League rules are used.  
 
This division will take part in the South Suburban Softball Conference League (SSC) league. Frankfort Square will play surrounding participating towns during the season (Frankfort, Mokena, Tinley etc).  At the end of the season a tournament style playoff bracket is held.
