Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives…one heart at a time. Since 1954, FCA has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful platform of sport to reach every coach and every athlete with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities around the globe by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire and change the world through the gospel.

Billy Graham once stated said, “A coach will impact more people in one year than the average person will in an entire lifetime.” The FCA vision statement emphasizes the significance of coaches and athletes, while encouraging them to play a key role in impacting their families, teams, and communities for the Kingdom. FCA engages, equips, and empowers coaches and athletes to develop/grow in a personal relationship with Christ and encourages others to follow the same path.
MISSION “To lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.”
This mission statement showcases how bonding with Jesus and developing a connection with Him can help coaches and athletes progress and excel. We work to help coaches/athletes understand the teachings of Jesus and share their faith with others, bringing positive transformation to the community. Athletes need role models with strong moral and spiritual values that will help them overcome various sports and life-related challenges. We encourage coaches/athletes to grow their faith and lead others.
VALUES - our relationships will demonstrate steadfast commitment to Jesus Christ and His Word through;
Integrity: We focus on following Christ-like qualities, being faithful and abiding by one’s word. (Proverbs 11:3)
Serving: We encourage coaches/leaders to devote their time and energy to follow Jesus, serve others, and build trust. (John 13:1-17)
Teamwork: We believe in working selflessly by focusing on Unity in Christ, i.e. being one with Him. (Philippians 2:1-4)
Excellence: We advocate seeing the glory of Christ in all parts of life and working whole heartedly in all we do. (Colossians 3:23-24)
Each of these values is inspired by the Bible and they encourage the members to follow these values similar to Christ. Following these values is not merely limited to oneself, but also ensures it transcends through the family, friends, and community.
FCA mission, vision, and core values suggest that through the gospel of Jesus Christ, athletes and coaches are encouraged to give their best, to continue to develop, to serve and impact the community they live in.
