Summer Panthers

2024 Summer Panthers

The Panthers program's mission is to provide players with a more competitive softball experience than the NGS recreational league or school teams generally offer (with the exception of high school varsity). We seek to develop players' skills with a goal of preparing them to play softball at the highest level possible in high school and to have fun while doing so. Panther sign ups are by invitation only.

Pitching Clinics

New Pitcher Clinic

Newton Girls Softball is running a two-session clinic for new and inexperienced pitchers, particularly in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. The clinic will work on the fundamentals of pitching with a goal of having the athlete comfortable pitching in a 4-5 Rec league game this spring. We are lucky to have Emily Sargent of Sargent Softball who will run the sessions.

All pitchers must provide a catcher. At this age, this is typically a parent.

The sessions will be at Cole Field:

- Sunday May 5th @930am
- Sunday May 19 @930am
(Rain date will be Sunday May 26th @930am)

The price is $30 for two sessions and we highly encourage everyone to sign up for both. The price for one session is $25. The discount for two sessions will be applied at checkout time. Registration is non-refundable.
