NEW LENOX MUSTANGS FOOTBALL AND CHEER

For 50 years the Mustang organization has been a cornerstone of the New Lenox community. It has required a strong sense of dedication, pride, and sense of family by all involved to make the Mustangs what it has become today! The New Lenox Youth Football and Cheer program has provided our youth the opportunity to compete in football and cheerleading in league, state, and national levels.
Our traditions, community pride, and success have forged who we are on the field. As mentors we willingly commit to sharing the wisdom obtained with our youth. This wisdom is manifested in our tradition of sportsmanship, respect for the game, desire to succeed, and commitment to each other as family. "Papa" our founder, has helped to build a legacy that has touched the lives of thousands of families in a positive way over the many decades.
Our roots are deep in the community. We did not adopt ourselves as a “junior” program, we are the Mustangs of NEW LENOX and we have claim to the community as a whole. We emphasize that to succeed requires effort, both in sport and in life. Winning is not everything, but having the desire to win is.
The Mustangs believe in safety first. All of our football coaches are certified through USA Football annually assuring current and updated awareness of football fundamentals and safety. Every Head Coach and Athletic Director within the Southwest Midget Football league attended AED training with the Illinois Heart Rescue. Each franchise in the league is required to provide field access to AED machines. We have CPR & First Aid certified medical staff on field every home game.
