Mandatory Tryout Information

For those of you who have not participated before, our first order of business is the mandatory skills tryout which will be held at Optimist Park - 6411 NW 162nd ST., Miami Lakes, FL 33014 on the open area field next to the Middle School Parking Lot. The tryout results help us put together fair teams. If you cannot attend your tryout date, please notify us via email at [email protected] as all players must tryout in order to be drafted.
Here are the dates broken down by age division:

Monday Jan.22 @6:30-7:30PM (6U & 17U Division Only)
Tuesday Jan.23 @6:30-8:00PM (10U & 14U Division Only)
Wednesday Jan.24 @6:30-8:00PM (8U & 12U Division Only)

Your child should wear a t-shirt and athletic shorts. The kids will be doing some running, throwing, and catching drills. Your child needs to complete both stations!

When you arrive at the park, we will have a check-in table. Your child must check-in first before starting at any of the stations. We will send you back to the check-in line if you attempt to do the drills without having first checked in.
