RYSA is now EAST ATLANTA DUTCH LIONS FC
RYSA (Rockdale Youth Soccer Association) has been a staple in the Rockdale County community for over 50 years, providing soccer opportunities for children and adults alike. However, in recent years, RYSA has experienced a decrease in membership, which threatened the future of the organization. Fortunately, Patrick Vierhout, CEO, and majority owner of East Atlanta Dutch Lions FC, saw an opportunity to help. Through his company Sportiff USA LLC, Vierhout provided RYSA with affordable, quality uniforms for their players, and in doing so, saw a greater opportunity. In fact, Vierhout acquired RYSA and formed the RSA Dutch Lions FC, as a recreational team within the Dutch Lions FC organization. Dutch Lions FC currently has 10 other clubs in the USA, including the East Atlanta Dutch Lions FC. Those clubs field seven women's teams and five men's teams competing in the USL, NPSL, and WPSL. By partnering with RYSA, Dutch Lions FC aims to bring the same level of quality and expertise to recreational soccer in Rockdale County. RYSA Dutch Lions FC has been met with enthusiasm from the community, with many players and families eager to join. The organization offers soccer programs for children of all ages, as well as adults, with a focus on providing a positive and fun experience for all involved. The Dutch Lions FC philosophy is centered around developing players' skills and passion for the game while instilling important values such as sportsmanship and teamwork. The acquisition of RYSA by the East Atlanta Dutch Lions FC is not only beneficial for the soccer programs in Rockdale County but for the community as a whole. Soccer has the power to bring people together and promote a healthy and active lifestyle. Through RYSA Dutch Lions FC, children and adults in Rockdale County can enjoy the benefits of soccer and be part of a community that values sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun.
