Recreational Soccer
Lil Lions: 3 year olds (U4)
Lil Lions is a fun introductory program into the world of soccer specifically designed for younger children. Lil Lions is centered around introducing the child to the soccer ball and learning what they can and cannot do with their soccer ball. Children will have a positive environment where they can learn about soccer and their soccer ball through fun activities and basic training techniques. We also introduce children to the 1v1, creating a little competition through the soccer elements of dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending with these activities, children start to see and understand group activities as they learn to play with others. We offer the Lil Lions four times throughout the year
Recreation Program: 4 - 13 year olds (U6-U12)
The recreational program is open to players of all skill level and abilities. The rec program teaches the sport of soccer in a fun and stress-free environment and focuses on developing players with their technical skills. Players in the recreational program practice for 10 weeks and play 8 games in a season. We offer fall and spring outdoor seasons along with winter and summer indoor seasons.
Competitive Soccer - Academy & Select
EADLFC Academy Soccer: 8 - 11 years old (U9-U12)
The Academy program is designed to develop players in a more structured environment to teach them the technical skills to help prepare them for higher level competitive programs. The Academy program is an intermediate step to full sided select soccer which starts at the U13 year. All EADLFC Academy coaches are licensed and experienced in preparing players of this age for the next step of select soccer. Training activities are devised to help each player improve technically (skills), tactically (as a member of a team), physically (coordination & fitness) and psychologically (mental development). The Academy focuses on the complete development of each player and education of the parent on the philosophies of developmental soccer.
EADLFC Select Soccer: 12 - 18 years old (U13-U19)
The EADLFC Select Programs (SCCL & E64) are for players wishing to play at a higher level. The EADLFC Select Programs provide players with a highly competitive level of play. The EADLFC coaching staff evaluates the skills, potential and enthusiasm of each player. A serious commitment is required to participate in the select program. Players are asked to commit to two or three practices per week and one to two games each weekend during the season. Additionally, teams may participate in various tournaments, sometimes traveling out of state. Each Select team at EADLFC is coached by a professionally licensed coach.
