Click on the “REGISTER YOUR ATHLETE” tab in the menu bar to start your registration.
First time registrants will need to upload a copy of their birth certificate. New users will need to create an account before they can register a child. If you registered for the 2023 season you will already have an account. If you filled out a paper registration form, an account was created for you using the email you listed on the form. Simply reset your password to continue.
You will need to select a team for your child based on their Fall 2024 grade.
Divisions and Weight Limits
Listed below are the maximum weight allowed in each division for the 2023 season. We will update with any changes for 2024 as we get them. Weight limits pertain only to football. There is no weight limit for cheer.
Mini Cubs: 95 lbs
Jr. Cubs: 125 lbs (X-man can be up to 135 lbs)
Cubs: 160 lbs (X-man can be up to 170 lbs)
All children are able to join our program regardless of weight, though they may not be eligible to play in the games. Register your child for their grade division even if they exceed the weight limit. Feel free to reach out to our president John Richelson at [email protected] if you are unsure about your athlete’s age/weight. We encourage all children to join the team and learn fundamental football skills, work as part of a team, get their bodies moving!
Required Paperwork
Before your athlete can step on a practice field we will need a Medical Exam on file as well as a copy of their birth certificate.

Equipment:
Football – All football players will receive both a practice, and game uniform, shoulder pads, and a helmet with facemask, chinstrap and mouthguard.
Players must provide their own cleats; metal cleats are not allowed.
Practice uniforms and safety equipment will be distributed prior to practice.
All league gear is to be returned at the end of the season.
Cheer – We are changing our uniform process this season!
There will be fitting dates held at the end of May and first weekend of June. Attendance at one the dates will be mandatory for the cheerleader and their guardian. At the fitting we will have samples of the new uniforms for the kids to try on, including shoes, skirts, shells and long sleeve undershirts and warmups. At this fitting appointment each cheerleader will pay $120 to order their uniform which they will then keep and will not be turning in at the end of the season.
Their uniform kit will include the following: Bow, Shell, Skirt, Long Sleeve undershirt, Briefs, Socks, Shoes, Cheer Bag, Warmups, and Poms.
For anyone concerned with cost, we will be fundraising to help offset the cost of these new uniforms. If you choose to participate in the fundraisers you could and should end up earning enough to cover this additional costs.
Season Dates
Exact dates TBA per the Mendo-Lake Empire Junior Football League.
You can expect that football practices will start mid-late July, and that games will be Saturdays from Mid August through Early November.
Cheer practice typically starts earlier in the summer so the team can prepare for cheer camp which will tentatively be held at the end of July this year.
We will update this information as soon as it is officially released.
There are no games on Labor Day weekend.
