As we begin planning another baseball and softball season it falls to us to try and remind families and parents just what makes this such a worthwhile program. As fresh grass begins to grow on the field, your child can be running bases, catching balls and learning valuable skills he or she will carry for the rest of their lives. At a time when so many children spend their days sitting indoors, staring at glowing screens, our many teams are getting young people of all ages outside, active and fit. Little League Baseball teaches more than catching, throwing and running. It teaches sportsmanship, camaraderie, and responsibility to others. It teaches what working hard and dedication can do for you, both on and off the field.
