Track and Field
NSYA Track and Field is a recreational introduction to both running and field events. We offer three different age groups, K-1st, 2nd-3rd, and 4th-5th. Practices and meets will be held at the Stayton High School track.
This 6-week program focuses on creating healthy habits and goal setting in a positive and encouraging environment. Practices consist of a variety of age-appropriate running activities, as well as an introduction to field events. There will be two practices a week for the first two weeks, then will go to 1 practice and 1 meet a week. Meets will be held on Thursdays.
Volunteers are needed for Thursday meet days. If you would like to help, please let Track and Field Director Andrew Church know at the first practice of the season.
Come out and join us for our next amazing season!
Track is a Spring sport and begins just after Spring Break.
