BASEBALL & SOCCER HEAD COACHES, ASSISTANT COACHES & VOLUNTEER REFERREES:
1. To register, please select "Head Coach, Assistant Coach or Referee".
2. Complete the questionnaire and upload your Government Issued I.D. The Sports Commissioner will be in contact with you soon to discuss details.

FOR ALL SPORTS: After completing the questionnaire, the RYAA will receive a notification that you have registered to volunteer! Please check your email to allow the RYAA completes a background check through JDP (J.D. Palatine Background Check Services). While waiting, please see info below to start your Abuse Awareness Training Course (and Online Concussion Training - Head Coaches Only).

ALL volunteers complete a MANDATORY Abuse Awareness for Adults Training. To complete this FREE 30-minute online training, please click the link below titled "Abuse Awareness Online Training".

**FOR HEAD COACHES ONLY**: Head Coaches will be required to complete an Online Concussion Training through the CDC (see link below).

To register for the Mandatory Abuse Awareness Training:
1. Register for an account at USA Baseball.
2. Once enrolled, select "My Account".
3. Select "Courses".
4. Select "Abuse Awareness for Adults" & click "Enroll".
5. Once you have completed the course, please download your certificate. You will need to access your RYAA account and "upload" you certificate of course completion.

To register for the Online Concussion Training (HE
AD COACHES ONLY):
1. In order to access the training, you must create an account with CDC TRAIN.
2. Once enrolled, select "Heads Up Concussion Training" from the links listed then click "Confirm Selection".
3. Select "Finish Creating Account".
4. On the next screen, you'll need to complete all required information for your account (top right hand corner) BEFORE you can register for the course.
5. FOR THE ORGANIZATION TAB, type in:
Organization Name: Runnemede Youth Athletic Association
Department/Division: Youth Sports
Title: Head Coach
6. For Professional Role, select "Volunteer".
7. For Work Settings, select "Non Profit Organization". Then click the green "Save" button at the top right corner". (If the screen does not exit, select "Cancel" to take you back to the main page.
8. Click on the green "Pre-Assessment" button to begin training. You'll take a 10 minute test BEFORE the training starts!
5. Once you have completed the course, please download your certificate. You will need to access your RYAA account and "upload" your certificate.

To upload your course completion certificate:
1. Login to your RYAA Account.
2. Select the Volunteer Icon on the left hand side (icon is a outline of a person).
3. Under "My Roles and Certificates" click the pencil icon next to your name.
4. Scroll to the bottom and upload your certificate under "Training Certifications".
5. Please also send an email of the completed Certificate to: [email protected]
