About Fall 2024 FCA Deaf Soccer League
At FCA, we want to create opportunities for EVERY athlete to engage in sport in a positive, supportive environment. We want to help our coaches and athletes achieve their greatest potential, and we believe this happens when we combine faith, fellowship, and fitness.
The FCA Deaf Soccer League is an opportunity for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing athletes (Grades K-12) to grow and develop in the rules, skills, and game of soccer. Using a total communication approach (ASL & Spoken English), FCA coaches and volunteers will lead a 8-week soccer program, one day a week, on Saturdays starting in September through November.
All athletes will be grouped based upon age, skill, and gender (i.e., Coed K-6; Boys & Girls separate 7 - 12). Each week, parents and athletes can expect a program of prayer, skills & drills, stretches, competition and Bible study.
The FCA Deaf Soccer League also provides a great opportunity for parents and adults to be involved as FCA coaches and volunteers. All FCA coaches and volunteers must go through our FCA background checks and training process.
We believe this is a great opportunity to connect with others, to coach Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing youth, and to grow in faith and fitness!
