Dallastown Cougar Field Hockey Fall 2026

Dallastown Cougar Field Hockey (DCFH) Fall 2026 Season Registration in now OPEN for all girls in the Dallastown and surrounding communities. This is the 3rd year for the DCFH Program and we are looking forward to another great season!

DCFH participates in the SYC Youth Field Hockey League. This league includes teams from Dallastown, Southwest, Littlestown, Red Lion, Southern York County, Gettysburg, Bermudian Springs, and McSherrystown.

Effective this season, players must play for the school district in which they reside. If a player resides in a school district that does not have a Youth Program within the SYC League, then they may play for any program.

The only exception to this, is if players have previously played for Dallastown Cougar Field Hockey prior to the 2026 season, they may continue to play for our program.

Below are the details regarding the upcoming season and some SAVE-THE-DATE items to place on your calendar. We will send out more communications to families after registration has closed regarding practice schedules, game schedules, upcoming events, etc.

Registration Dates:

April 1, 2026-June 30, 2026

Season Dates:

August 17, 2026-October 18, 2026

Grade/Team Assignments:

Grades K-2
Grades 3-4
Grades 5-6

Player Cost:

$130- Returning players. NO Jersey Purchase (Jerseys from the 2025 season may be used again for the 2026 season, unless a larger size is needed)

$150.00- New/Returning players. WITH Jersey Purchase

OPTIONAL- $40.00- Kilt Purchase

The registration platform does charge a transaction fee, as well as a credit card fee during checkout. If you would rather pay by check to avoid these fees, please send a check payable to "Dallastown Cougar Athletics" to 8587 Fairway Court / Seven Valleys, PA 17360. Checks must be for the full amount, and are due within 14 days of registration.

Payment plans are available. If you select the payment plan at checkout, your payment will be split into 3 equal payments that are due biweekly.

Practice Commitment:

2 practices per week; 1 practice will be on turf at DCS Field House in Red Lion, PA and 1 practice will be on the grass field at the Dallastown High School

Game Commitment:

1 game per week. Games are on Sundays. Game locations will be determined at a later time, however they will be at one of the 8 locations listed above.

Uniform/Equipment:

Jersey will be provided as part of registration

Kilt or Shorts (Navy Blue)

Field Hockey Stick, Shin Guards, Cleats for Grass, Sneakers/Turf Shoes for Turf, Mouthguard. Goggles are optional

White Socks and Navy Blue Socks for games

Corner Masks are required for all players in 3rd thru 6th grades

Uniform Try-On:

Wednesday July 8, 2026 5:30pm-7:00pm @ Cougar Building 228 South Charles Street Dallastown, PA 17313

We highly recommend coming out and trying on the uniforms, otherwise we will be using the size entered during registration.

We have purchased sizing kits and will be offering slots for families to come out to try on jerseys and kilts. Kilts are an optional add-on for $40.00 during registration, but are NOT required. You may also purchase the kilt during uniform try-on if you didn't add it to registration.

Coaches Meeting:

Mandatory Fundraising Requirement:

The only requirement is that you provide us a list of 10 emails of family members and friends who would consider donating to our program. Donations help us keep costs low for our players!
