Spring Season
The spring season consists of 12 games (April - June). Tryouts for baseball/softball minors & major divisions are usually held early in February. The number of registered players determines the number of teams in each division - this is determined prior to the draft. The spring environment is competitive in nature, but we remain focused on development and teaching sportsmanship.
- Games: played Mondays - Fridays.
- Location: games are played on both City and County fields. Please reference the Field Locations tab for more information.
- Practices: these are coaches' discretion - we recommend at least two practices a week (throughout March) before the season begins.
- Uniforms: a cap and jersey are provided. Parents will supply the pants, socks, and belt (coach will pick the colors).
- Equipment: a bag of division appropriate equipment (bats, helmets, etc.) will be supplied to each coach at the coaches meeting before practices begin. Equipment is managed by our Equipment Manager, and coaches must return the equipment at the end of the season. *Parents will need to ensure their child has a glove and any preferred protective equipment. Cleats are not necessary but are helpful for traction after graduating from tee ball.
