Chartiers-Houston Youth Baseball Association (CHYBA)

This will be for the 2025 Spring Baseball Registration. Here are some helpful hints to help before you start:

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT UNIFORM FITTING AND IN-PERSON REGISTRATION IS ON JANUARY 19, 26 AND FEBRUARY 2 @ THE TOWNSHIP BUILDING FROM 5-8PM. YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW YOUR CHILD'S HAT AND JERSEY SIZE ON THE QUESTIONNAIRE BEFORE YOUR CAN COMPLETE REGISTRATION.

REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON FEBRUARY 2, 2025 @8PM AFTER THE LAST UNIFORM FITTING DATE.

We are sending this out early so everyone can get familiar with the new registration and answer any questions during the dates listed above.

You may also forward this email to anyone that may be interested in joining the organization.

You will be ask to create an account for billing purposes.
Once the account is created you will be able to add your children and register them into their age divisions. You can register multiple children at one time and only need to pay once.
You will be required to enter the division for which your child's age qualifies for. There is a question on the form to fill out if you wish to play up in the next division. We can manually modify your division afterwards. Age Cutoff is the age your child will be by 4-30-2025.
Any parent that requests their child play up in the next division will need to have approval from the CHYBA Members in Good Standing during the February 9th Meeting. Not all requests are granted.
If you are a Shetland parent that wishes to play up in the Pinto division, please let us know at in-person registration so we can modify your division and add the $25.00 difference before you checkout. (Please remember that not all requests are granted and require approval from the CHYBA Members in Good Standing)
We will be having uniform fittings and in-person registration on January 19 and 26 as well as February 2 from 5-8pm at the township building.
You will need to know your child's hat and jersey size before you can complete registration but have your account created to save time at in-person registration.
Jersey #'s that are in conflict will be assigned to the player with the most years played in the organization or by earliest registration if total years is equal. If you choose to put the same number on all 3 choices during registration and are not assigned that number due to a conflict, you will be assigned the next available number.
We will be collecting a $200 Volunteer Check at in-person registration that will be returned after 3 volunteer obligations have been completed. PONY division parents are only required to volunteer for 2 obligations. 1 check per family.
There is an option to pay the $200 Volunteer Fee online if you do not wish to participate in volunteering and be exempt from the 3 obligations ( 2 for PONY Division). Select "YES" at the question on the bottom of the registration page.
There is an option after registration and before checkout to signup for Head and Assistant Coaches. You can sign yourself up or the active user can add your information if you wish to coach. You will receive a separate email to register once the active user inputs all the information.
Credit Card/Debit Card is the only way to pay online. If you wish to pay by check please leave the items in your cart and we can zero out the balance once we receive your check at in-person registration.
There is a $150 family maximum for each family but make sure you have all you children registered before you check out to see the discount. This does not include the $200 Volunteer Fee if you wish to pay it up front and be exempt.
There is a Sponsorship form attached to this email. Every referral you or your family receives on the form will count towards 1 volunteer obligation.

Please Note: If you are from outside our district and want to play for CHYBA you will need to get permission.

If your district participates in the GR50 and has a team in your age division then you must register for your district. If your district can not field a team in your age division then you are eligible to play for CHYBA with permission. (Ex. Avella, Burgettstown, Fort Cherry, and Trinity)
