2026 Rutherford LL Girls Softball

Rutherford Little League Girls Softball was founded in 2010 and has since become one of the premier leagues in New Jersey. Below is a description of our different divisions for Girls ages 4 thru 14.

The 2026 Regular Season will officially begin on April 11th with the Annual Little League Parade and Opening Day Ceremonies and continue until Championship Saturday which will be held on June 6th this year.

Please Note:

League Age for Little League Softball is the Player's age as of 12/31/2025
During Registration, you may skip the questions on "Proof of Residency" and "School Verification"

OUR DIVISIONS:

Rookie League (Tee Ball) – Rookie League Softball is for Girls League Age 4-5 years old who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. The primary goals of our Rookie League are to instruct the Girls in the fundamentals of softball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork .

Double A – Double A/Minor League Softball is for League Age 5-6 year old Girls who have played a minimum of one year of Rookie League. This is a Coach pitch division. The primary goals of our Double A division are to continue to instruct the Girls in the fundamentals of softball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork.

Triple A – Triple A Softball is for players League Age 7 and 8. The primary goal of our Triple- A division is to continue to instruct the Girls in the fundamentals of softball, begin to fine tune their skills and compete against other towns in the District. This division is a combination of coach and player pitch.

Majors Division 9/10 and 11/12 – The Majors softball division is divided into League Age groups 9/10 and 11/12. The primary goal is for the Girls to continue to learn the finer aspects of softball and strengthen their skills. The divisions are Player pitch.

Junior Division - The Junior League Softball division is a program for players League Age 13 and 14.
